Monaco Coach
Monaco Coach Corporation, based in Coburg, Oregon, is the leading manufacturer of a full line of luxury recreational vehicles ("RVs") in the High Line segment (suggested retail prices in excess of $100,000). Liberty provided all the financing for a management–led buyout of Monaco in March 1993. Monaco completed its initial public offering in September 1993 (NYSE: MNC). Following its IPO, the Company used its strengthened balance sheet to acquire Holiday Rambler, the RV subsidiary of Harley-Davidson, thereby becoming a full line producer. With revenues now in excess of $1.3 billion, Monaco is the number one manufacturer of diesel motorhomes in the United States.
