Patient Accounting Service Center, LLC ("PASC"), based in Kent, Washington, provides comprehensive outsourced accounts receivable and back office operations management solutions to the U.S. hospital market. The Company has created a software infrastructure to support and consolidate these collection activities by developing a proprietary hospital collections system. PASC also supports its client information services and accounting departments through system balancing, reserve analysis and data interface analysis. In addition to managing the on-going accounts receivable activities of its clients, PASC provides system conversion services to hospitals that have invested in new accounts receivable software. Liberty and Management acquired privately-held PASC in July 2000. PASC was sold to a major business process and information technology outsourcing solutions company in January 2004.
