Precyse Solutions Names Baptist Health System Client of the YearWAYNE, PA - November 7, 2005 - Precyse Solutions, a leading provider of Health Information Management (HIM) services, announced today that it has named Baptist Health System (BHS) its 2005 Marquee Client of the Year. In late 2004, BHS and Precyse signed an agreement for the outsourcing of all medical transcription functions for seven BHS hospitals. Located in the greater Birmingham, AL area, the seven facilities had been operating under a variety of operational models for transcription. The agreement with Precyse consolidated the effort to a single vendor and a common technology platform. Within a record eight-week timeframe, BHS and Precyse brought all seven facilities live on PrecyseNet™, the proprietary, web-based workflow engine created by Precyse. In addition, all sites were using PrecyseNet for their transcription functions and had typists working both onsite and remotely. Doug Davenport, CFO for BHS explains, “Previously, our organization struggled to understand the productivity and accuracy levels for our medical transcription functions. Without knowing these key metrics, we were unable to make changes to processes that could ultimately help us to accelerate bill production and cash flow.
